Started a mini Lynx retrospective :D

I love reviewing weird and unusual games that most people may not have heard of and a few months ago I started sharing some of my favorite games from the Lynx. So far there are three episodes to this "Lynx retrospective" where I discuss the games. It starts with Electrocop, then Gates of Zendocon, followed by Slime World.

My next one will be a conclusion video (unless suggested otherwise) where I showcase a few more games for the system with little snippets about each one (Blue Lightning, Paperboy, Hydra, Gauntlet, Toki, Rygar, and California Games to name a few).

I thought fans of the system would get a kick out of it ^_^ I hope it is found to be enjoyable...

Any feedback or suggestions for more games would be welcome. Should I give games like Blue Lightning their own video or should I just end it with the compilation as mentioned above?

Games that are weird, unusual or games which fails due to for example some technical problems are the most interesting. I love searching and playing such a games on various systems.

Even on Atari Lynx there are some less talked games like A.P.B. which i would include in video. Or or Dracula maybe? Blue Lighting is cool but I think everyone (handheld gamer) knows it, even those who never owned Lynx system :)

It would be cool to create a video about never released games or about more current released games like Songbird productions.

Great job with review i really enjoyed it. You have natural potential for making those!

I appreciate the feedback! I will check out APB and Dracula this weekend :D

What games for the Lynx were never released but still obtainable in rom form? And where can I find a list for games that have been recently released? I saw on the Wiki that some people are making new games for the system but I am unsure what they are called right now. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Some of the games can be found on AtariAge catalog http://atariage.com/software_list.php?SystemID=LYNX&searchCompanyID=ALL&searchRarity=ALL&searchType=NORMAL&orderByValue=Ascending&recordsPerPage=100&orderBy=Rarity&orderByValue=Descending&recordsPerPage=100
Check out Rarity column marked as P (Prototype), H (Homebrew), 7 (Rare games)

Nice review! Electrocop is certainly underrated.

I hope you'll get to Klax, Loopz, and Lemmings. They all have superb Lynx ports, and are amongst the top games for the system. I do note, though, that Loopz is a legal Songbird title, and it's better to buy a copy from Carl than to just download the ROM.

Also note that the rarity list is missing a few titles, such as P.I.T.S, both Yastunas, and the LuchsSoft release(s).
