So earlier tonight I went to work on Stickman. Tonight's goals: Make the eraser deadly, and also add a game over screen. Yeah, I was feeling pretty ambitious, but you know what? I was able to do both. I think I broke something when I added the game over screen, so I went in the rapinit.s file and changed all the backgrounds to active. That fixed it. I don't know why. And also, I made the eraser deadly. If it touches mister Stickman, he dies. I'm going for an Odyssey 2 feel, but I may change it if enough people clamor for lives. So tomorrow what I'm going to do is compose in-game and death songs. I really wish I could get a quality-enough game worthy for the AA store, so that's what I'm aiming for. Pity I don't have a way to test it on my real Jaguar. Also, I'd like it in cartridge form so I could play my own creation. Sadly I don't have a Jag CD. Or a skunk board. I saw one on eBay, but I can't pay the $400 or so they were asking for it. Yes, I can occasionally afford an $80 homebrew, but that's about it. That is my limit for one game: $80. I paid $80 for High Seize on the N-Gage. I think I paid $86 including shipping for Rebooteroids. I also have a website for Stickman, it's in my signature. Stickman originally started out as an Atari 2600 game, then I moved it to the Odyssey 2, and moved it once again to the Jaguar.
