metarog
Since it seems like quite a few AA members have complete or near O2 complete sets I thought it would be fun to start a list... Not sure what the "rules" should be however I would think only the original 49 releases are needed to be complete. I also don't think variations should matter so whether you have a later Philllips release or the original Magnavox copy it all should count. I suppose we could have levels so that if you have all boxes, manuals, game pieces, etc that would be Platinum, missing some would be gold and a loose collection silver? What about a boxed console and The Voice? How about an addendum for Homebrews and Multi/Flash carts? Let's discuss... I'll put my stuff in as a starter. Platinum- Metarog-all 49 original carts CIB+233-In-One. 2 CIB consoles + 1 CIB Voice.
BassGuitari
The only original cartridge I'm missing is Powerlords. Only about half of my Odyssey 2 collection is CIB though.2 consoles (1 printed logo, CIB; 1 raised logo plate, box);1 Voice (loose)48 original carts (approx. 24 CIB, give or take)KTAA! w/ manualSo I'm not *complete,* but awfully close. I wouldn't mind a system with non-hardwired joysticks but those seem to go for far more than I'd care to spend on an Odyssey 2. I've thought about going back and grabbing boxes for my loosies since Odyssey boxes are both awesome-looking and functional. I usually only collect loose, but for this (and possibly Intellivision) I'm willing to make an exception.
krslam
I've got all the original carts, missing only boxes/manuals for Atlantis and Powerlords, a boxed console, and a loose Voice. Two different Multicarts, 55 of the original 61 Videopac releases, the chess module, the 4 Parker Bros games, 3 Brazilian exclusives (+ 9 Brazilian variants), 11 Canadian variants, and a couple homebrews. So, gold plus for me?
ScottyDont00
http://atariage.com/forums/topic/255977-scottydont00s-odyssey-2-collection/ I'm going to leave this right hear and add in 10+ more homebrew's and another parker bothers game that are being shipped from various places right now and the CIB copy of Tutankham I acquired a few moths ago. AtariBuff
I have all the European Videopac G7000 releases CIB, all the Imagics and Parkers, many homebrews and the 'Kinder im Verkehr' boxed console with all paperwork. Of course, also CIB 7000 and 7400 consoles. Despite the fact, that I didn't have this system in the days, it's a nice collection, which doesn't need that much space. vintagegamecrazy
I have a complete North American collection. All CIB except Atlantis (what a nightmare that box has turned out to be to find). I own about 4 VideoPac titles. I own a Complete boxed O2 with the removable controllers and a loose one with the hardwired controllers. I own a voice and trackball as well. I could do pics but it would take a while to get it all out. If anyone can help me out with an Atlantis box and manual please let me know. ScottyDont00
I think the best thing to do is to set the guidelines for each tier and then I can create an official thread and ask Albert to lock or pin it to the top of the Odyssey 2/ Videopac section. We have 2 different systems with different sets of releases for the original runs so we need to keep this in mind. Ideas: Double Platinum: All original CIB for both O2 and Videopac Platinum: CIB for either O2 or VP Some of the people on this site have a complete set for both plus all the homebrews and other items.. I just paid for a 2 year subscription to the site so I can make additions and changes to it as needed. Let me know what you guys think.
metarog
There are actually 3 different if you count the Brazilian Odyssey so you might have to go triple platinum as VPB has the libraries for all 3 plus more variants than I knew existed! It would be great if this was pinned and you could edit it as updates come in. I say go for it!
