Cynicaster
I have set up Retroarch with the Mednafen PS1 emulator and for some games it seems to work perfectly. For example, I can run Twisted Metal 2 and I can't detect any issues whatsoever--smooth as silk. Then I'll try other games--Driver, for example--and the graphics are all screwed up. The game still "plays" at what seems to be full speed, but the graphics are missing textures, surfaces, and colors. What's even weirder about Driver is that the first "training" stage plays and looks perfect, but then as soon as the proper game starts, the graphics go to crap. I tried Google with various search terms and I could not seem to find anything on this specific problem of some games working perfectly and others having messed up graphics. Anybody know what might be going on here?
Flojomojo
I would pore over the wiki, there's probably a different mode you can invoke. I don't recall the particulars but there are games where you get better results with accuracy settings instead of performance or visual enhancements. http://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Mednafen
