Hi All,

I am have having problems with my new acquired Atari 2600 console, if i play Combat i have no issues at all, if i play any others such as Vanguard, Mrs Pac-Man, Asteroids, Frogger i get ghost images that make the games unplayable :( im using a quite up to date Tv that enables Hdmi but im using the rf cable to back of tv to which i fine tune in...i also own a binatone to which again has issues with images.. my question is do you think i need to get a older tv or is it something to do with the Atari ? please dont ask me any tech questions as i am a Newbie Noob :) all help appreciated.......

sorry if i have not put this post in relevant section.

Cheers.

Modern TVs are hit or miss with older consoles like the 2600. Some work OK, some are like yours and sorta kinda work, while others like mine won't even show a picture from my 2600 or Sega Genesis.

So basically use a different TV.

Oops - I see I left out the "won't", fixed that :)

It should be.  You could also see if they'll let you bring the Atari to test it.
