Atari_Bill
In the middle of doing some reorg with new stuff I hadn't added to the shelves yet. I happened to see something I'd never noticed before. Anyone know why multiple companies used the same cartridge cases? Looking at the Fisher Price games, Wiz Math, & Quest for Quintana Roo, all have identical cases. Did they all use the same supplier? Just curious if this has been discussed before.
+nanochess
Just seen this. Only can remember the Fisher-Price games are blue and red. I need to give a look to my collection for the form factor.
Pixelboy
Yeah, I noticed this a few years ago. It was probably the result of a few phone calls back in the day, where a company would let another use his mold for manufacturing cart casings, instead of creating their own plastic injection mold. Anything to save on production costs.
