SiberianSpForces
Years ago my original PS2 memory card just stopped working. The system would no longer acknowledge it. No corrupt data messages. Still have it and is it possible to revive it?
+Gemintronic
I saw this post indicating thatg a DEX drive can read PS2 memory cards with the right tools: https://forum.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?6167-PSX-Dex-Drive-for-PS2-memory-card! Maybe you could copy the contents to a new card that way. Sadly, it could also be truly dead. PS1 and PS2 memory cards were fragile (for me at least). Probably the technology of the time coupled with bad wear leveling techniques (if at all)
SiberianSpForces
Cool! Will be looking into this and hopefully be able to snag those saves off it.
SiberianSpForces
Grabbed one off eBay for 15 and some change. Had to dig for a copy of XP to run on a virtual machine. Once I get network sharing setup on XP, I'll be able to transfer the needed files and hopefully have the Dex up and running.
