Flojomojo
Technically, it's a bounty of up to $20,000 for finding and reporting security exploits.
0078265317
Yes I read that. But still cool. No more jail. Get paid to hack.
StopDrop&Retro
Collect the bounty, then release the hack. It's win-win.
Flojomojo
Then Nintendo patches the hack with a mandatory firmware update. There are probably terms and conditions to receiving the bounty, like "don't talk about this exploit or no money AND we can sue you." Win-win, so long as you're the multinational company with lots of lawyers.
Tanooki
Seems fair, but nothing new as they started to do this on the 3DS family of systems after how hardcore the DS was exploited.
0078265317
Collect the bounty, then release the hack. It's win-win. Why release the hack? They are paying you to find the flaws so they can patch it. And they will fix it with an update or something even if you release it. So why bother?
