It's a shame... that had the makings of a great farce.

Unfortunately they took themselves TOO seriously, and I can't help but read it as the ACTUAL ramblings of someone who thinks they know "everything" about "retro-gaming".

And some of it just makes NO sense...

I enjoyed watching John Ritter play a sex-crazed idiot on a scripted TV show.

I don't enjoy watching real people BE sex-crazed idiots on a reality TV show.

A lot of that was great! I loved the entries for 2600, INTV, 5200, NES, PS2, NEO-GEO, Gamecube, PS3, WII U, Xbox One.

But a lot of the others are a stretch- Tapioca Pudding? Loose Item Wrapped in Newspaper? What does Mario have to do with PS4? Comedy needs at least a kernel of truth to be funny, and many lacked that.

Yeah, no kidding! Intellivision was released in 1979. They have it marked as 1980.

Lots of other errors and omissions too, but whatevers! Kidz and the interwebs today.

Eh, it was really more of a 1980 release. It was only test marketed in Fresno in '79. Unless you lived in, around, or were willing to travel to Fresno, California, you couldn't get an Intellivision until 1980. Test markets don't usually qualify as true releases IMO.

Used cd-roms with black coating to trick us all into thinking discs were rad. This basically ruined consoles for the next twenty three years.

Created backwards compatability, which is defined as, "something you get yelled at for caring about today".

... I actually can't argue with that. :D
