Hi everyone,

I wanted to know if the Flapee Bird ROM had been released.  I've tried searching for it and couldn't find a thread, and apologize in advance, if I've missed a thread concerning the ROM release.

Thanks,

-Steve

Aren't we all? :P  I'll make a thread in the Colecovision tomorrow.  I have a ROM with a single tone music track I can share, which music was removed from the retail version to make room for that second game.

Plays fine in jzIntv... Haven't tried on LTO Flash!, but the .bin and .cfg look reasonable.

The ROM works fine for me on the cart, too. I had to find a .rar app for Windows 10 (didn't have one). On Mac I already had some other random app. The .rar contains two files - bird.bin and bird.cfg.

m-crew, could you elaborate what you did? If you want, PM me.

If using Windows, try 7zip to extract files. http://www.7-zip.org/

Hopefully attaching the .bin is ok so people don't have to go find Winrar. Attached File  bird.bin   9.5KB   6 downloads

Mapping, probably not necessary but couldn't attach .cfg file.  Just in case, open notepad, copy

[mapping]
$0000 - $12FF = $5000

And then save, select all file so it doesn't append .txt at the end. Type bird.cfg

So........when is a ROM not a ROM? When it's a RAR.

Must admit that I cannot get this working either. :?

I passed the .bin and .cfg files thru bin2cfg util from jzintv package, and here is the generated ROM file.
