+SpiceWare
A few years back I was able to get the original StarCraft running on a modern Mac by installing the Windows version via Wineskin. It worked, but was kludgy, so I stopped playing it soon after. Fast forward to today - Blizzard has released the game for free, and it's been updated to run under current Windows and Mac systems! Installers can be found here - STARCRAFT 1.18 RELEASE Running under macOS Sierra on my Mac Pro (COMMAND-M will toggle between Full-Screen and Windowed mode): happy happy joy joy

+SpiceWare
No problem! Did you see this post from a few weeks back? StarCraft Remastered in 4K I'm looking forward to that as this version is now extremely pixelated when run on my 27" 4K monitors.

They also changed the text rendering so it will take advantage of the higher resolutions, so the dialogs and missions briefings look really good.
