found a minor bug in visual BA. If you have open more than one program file in some instances the errors from one file will show up in the other file when compiling. This has happened a couple times to me and it took a while for me to figure out what was going on. I would have a file open to compile (forefront) and the file, not open, (behind) had known compile errors. those (behind) errors be displayed in the (forefront) when compiled. I just closed the offending file and the forefront file compiled fine. Just an FYI

Weird. Never had that happen to me before. Each one acts like a completely separate thing for me using this version of VbB:

it only happens in Win 10.

more specifics:

it seems to happen when the non-focus page has a un-defined definition type error.

as in:

running standard 2600basic.h

non-focus file has reference to modidfied 2600basic.h

compile focus file error from non-focus file referencing bad def comes through.

What happens if you run VbB as if you're using Windows 7 or Windows 8?

When I get a chance I'll test using Win7 setting to see if a difference.

You know, after really thinking about it, I don't see how this error is even possible. the error log are just a pass through from the external running of the compiler, right? How could the non-focus page even matter? does vb create a temp file that the compiler runs against?

I'm going to recreate to problem and see if maybe there are other factors.
