S1500
Was it around 1982? I'm referring to the packaging & manuals with hand-drawn art for the game manuals. No more white box with a mosaic fake screenshot.

Retrospect
Yep it would be around that time. The boxes we had before, all stemmed from the 99/4 period. In fact I think I remember seeing the actual TI 99/4 box itself once and that looked somewhat similar to their game packages. IE they drew the computer it wasn't a photo
PeBo
that would be this (which at first would always have included the "monitor" as well)...
digdugnate
that would be this (which at first would always have included the "monitor" as well)... Is that your original monitor box? If so, that's really cool! I have one of the 'unmarked' PEB shipping boxes that my wife made me move to our shed.
PeBo
Nah, just a picture I found online...If I had an original monitor, I'd love to find one of the second gen models (the more familiar Panasonic model that matched the PEB). Unfortunately, anytime one comes up it's in the States, and shipping/import fees would make it a luxury purchase. I did find one within a couple hundred miles a couple years ago for $75, but it was listed as "dead", and the last thing I needed was another piece of dead hardware that would never be fixed coming into my place.
+Ksarul
I purchased a beautiful 99/4 console box from an eBay seller a while back. The box was pristine in the auction photos--and then the seller decided that that box would make the perfect shipping box for the other items in the auction and put gobs of duct tape all over it to seal it up for shipment. . .I was able to get it carefully removed in the end, but the blue text is a lot less vibrant than it would have been if they hadn't done that to the box. . . PeBo
Same thing happened with one of my 4A's, he just masking-taped it up, and slapped labels on it, and shipped it. In the end the box wasn't salvageable, but if it had been a /4 box, I think I would have cried!
