Bobbety_F
...through Elgato into the PC. As you can see, it looks...kind of blurry! I'd be very grateful if anyone could advise me on a better way to record unemulated gameplay:-)
NoelleAmelie
How are you converting the signal to HDMI? If you're using one of those generic, cheapo SCART > HDMI converters then there's your issue. If you really wanna capture old games in SCART through HDMI then you're going to need either 240p-capable capture card (XCAPTURE-1, PEXHDCAP), an upscaler like the Framemeister, or a line-doubler like the OSSC. maiki
I don't know. What is a SCART modded Atari? Composite? If yes, why don't you use a composite video grabber? Myself I bought an analogue TV USB grabber and that is what is needed to record 2600. No VCRs, no DVD players, no HDMIs... does not make any sence at all... Just plug the Atari straight into the USB device and use a reasonable software like Virtual Dub. As easy as that.
+SpiceWare
What is a SCART modded Atari? Composite?Something I wish we'd had on our TV sets back in the day. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCART The SCART connector first appeared on TVs in 1977. ... The signals carried by SCART include both composite and RGB (with composite synchronisation) video, stereo audio input/output and digital signalling. The standard was extended at the end of the 1980s to support the new S-Video signals.
Bobbety_F
Thanks for the suggestions, guys:-) I'll look into the analogue TV USB grabber first...while I save up the cash for a Framemeister. Those things are 'Crazy Money!' as they used to say in Crazy Taxi
JustinMSalvato
Mind blown at the great suggestions. Such a noob when it comes to the technical side of things. I thank you too as I was curious as well.
