G-type
Here's my concept for a game: it would be somewhat of a cross between Room of Doom and Pressure Cooker. Monsters would be made of up to 4 various colors and you would have to collect a corresponding string of colored energy balls (which are flying across the room) in order for your shot to kill it. Some of the energy balls (the white ones) can hurt you and must be dodged. Edited August 24, 2020 by G-type

G-type
um, I DID create a mockup screenshot and a somewhat concrete idea of the gameplay. Also, I didn't ask anyone to code this for me.

G-type
I made a version of this game in scratch: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/417527052/ (the gameplay has slightly changed) I'd love to hear any feedback.
+SpiceWare
Nice! I like how one shot can take out multiple enemy. Difficulty ramp probably needs work, seemed to get too hard to quickly; though it was a quick test of just a few games. Would love to see you do it for the 2600. One of my favorite games from back in the day dealt with wizards and color:

It's a lot of fun, though does take a bit to get used to the control scheme - it would have benefited greatly from the additional fire buttons that came on later systems.
