Help getting parts for homebrews please

I've got a budget of $100 to make 10 games!

Will be buying TL866CS programmer for this. I need help knowing the right eprom for the 4k games. I know it's 2732, but I'd rather get new chips for 77¢ vs old vintage chips for $1+. Will these be suitable? http://www.ebay.com/itm/280867576962? If yes, great, if not, what do I need to look for?

For board I want to go with pcbway to make them using gerber files from http://www.grandideastudio.com/pixels-past/. I assume this is 2 layer board. Not as sure how to answer some of the questions they ask about the pcb. If anyone can look at this and give me some pointers, I'd appreciate it. Anyone used pcbway before? https://www.pcbway.com/orderonline.aspx?

For labels I think I'll have 8 Bit classics laser print. They seem to have good quality stickers that are the correct size, and I don't have a laser printer to do my own anyway. https://www.8bitclassics.com/Atari-2600-5200-7800-Gloss-Blank-Label-Sheets-Homebrew.html

Not been able to find anyone offering a box for this. Any help or pointers? Thanks to all!

I can't help with the gerber files, but consider asking Albert or CPUWIZ who can probably sell you some ready to use boards.

Get the boards first, then buy the correct eproms. Some boards are designed for 2732 (like the Pixel Past pcbs you linked), but others might use larger 28pin eproms even for 4k games, because the larger ones are more commonly available and sometimes cheaper than the older 2732. (basically the board is wired so that only 4k of the larger eprom will be accessible by the console). Some older 24pin eprom requires a programming voltage of 21V or 25V, and not all modern programmer can program those (or do it reliably). Ensure that your programmer can burn the exact model of eprom you're buying.

hey, I really appreciate your input Dragonstomper! I'm confident that the programmer I linked to will work with those eproms. Just want to make sure they would work for this purpose. I think they will, but never done this before.

I'd really love to buy boards from Albert or CPUWiz, but I can't find any way to do that anymore. Anyway, that would blow my budget for this.

PS. What part of Italy are you in? I'll be traveling to Rome and Florence for a few weeks. If you know of any cool gaming places in those areas, love to hear about them.

Try sending a PM. It might be cheaper than having your boards manufactured, as they probably order them in large quantities with better per-unit cost. And the boards will be guaranteed to work.

I live in northern Italy, quite distant from Rome or Florence, and my gaming is usually limited to the occasional short session with my 2600, so I can't be of much help... You might have better luck posting this question in the "International" subforum here on AA.
