OK, followup.

Going though maybe 20 threads I started I found where I criticized not updating a library or IDE environment for a modern age or some deal like that.

Seriously, if you guys are triggered by small stuff like this then I promise to control my saucy language for now on.

In the mean time I'm going to continue on the rewrite of my Super Game because after going through the OpCode site I found that my port has already been done by Team Pixelboy and better than my game by 10x.

So, I morphed it into a super game which has doubled the rooms from 30 to 60 and still does not need the SGM.

I have project #2 which is another port that has NOT been done on the Coleco platform and may or may not be free.  I think you guys will like it.

I'm a moderator for AtariAge that would just like to see you be a little nicer to people in your responses, that's all.  I think you probably know exactly what I'm talking about. If you're seeing hostility in what I write to you, it's because that's exactly the same tone I've seen you have with others. Don't like it?  Then change the way you speak to other people.

Many of us here on the forum actually have the means to do exactly what you're suggesting and some of us are actually producing wonderful homebrew items for others in the community. I retried from the video games business at 41 so I get it.  All I'm saying is there's no need to be abrasive in the process.  There's a lot of people here who would support you, and those people would probably like to see some support in return.  Maybe I've not seen all your posts but things I have seen recently suggest you feel you are above what other people are producing.  And IMO that's not "playing nice" with the rest of the community.

Be more chill.

I'm not asking too much.

Look, That was not meant to say I will do whatever I want...
It is to say I am retired, I have the freedom to develop, the resources and time to bring a new machine.
No one is implying that I'm above anyone...

It was more of a resume to say that I am here.
I was here on New Years and I think Christmas and someone told me to go home out of this virtual world crap.

Atari Age so to speak is my hangout now being most other sites are dormant like Yahoo Coleco Programmers group.

Orlando...
I'm right around the corner we should hook up.
As a matter of fact The guy who sold me the 2 MICROFOX drives lives in Delray.

I'm intrigued. With so many excellent FPGA-based machines already and incoming, as well as countless emulation boxes that are incredibly inexpensive, this must be quite the idea for you to be so confident in it. The market for vintage/classic gaming is thriving, but there's an incredible amount of competition out there, so the available pool of buyers is actually shrinking for individual products. If you're comfortable selling (optimistically) a few hundred systems or so, then more power to you. If you're expecting more than that, it's going to be something of a challenge these days.
