You are correct, there's only one setting. My mistake and it has been corrected. Thanks for pointing that out Joe.

DuggerVideoGames
Pitfall II is BS. I liked the original game, but there are no balloons for me in this game. I've hit every button at virtually every edge and I never once see a balloon. I'm stuck with no way of returning to the surface.

DuggerVideoGames
Using the ROM that was posted here (I always get mine from the same site). Thanks for the map. I'll give it a look and try the game again later.
Northcoastgamer
I just tried the ROM on my multi-cart, the balloons are there. After the bat flies by the balloon appears.
DuggerVideoGames
Thanks again for the map, NCG. Very much appreciated! I was at that spot where the balloon appears before, but I apparently had to jump several times for it to appear (and wait for the bat to fly by). Sadly, it still seems impossible to get back to the top where you started the game at. After rescuing the cat - or whatever that thing was - and the mouse, it appears there's no way back up and I'm back to swimming in the waters and going down the depths.Pitfall II: 179,000 pts

Pitfall II: 179,000 pts Once you get Quickclaw the cat, that's where the game ends. So you want to get the rat and the gold bar past the rat in the shallow water (if you haven't already), THEN get Quickclaw. There is no returning to the starting point level. DuggerVideoGames
Jumpman Junior (speed 1): 7,000 pts. This game is not fun at all on speed 1. I wouldn't say the game is too fast for me, as my reactions/reflexes are just fine, thank you; however, I'm getting thoroughly annoyed when I try to make my jumps across the ladders only to find that Jumpman KEEPS GOING IN THAT DIRECTION and falling to his death even though I only pressed the direction ONCE. I think this game would have been better off being played on speed 3 or 4. I'm not even going to try to improve upon this score on this speed. Screw it. DuggerVideoGames
Been playing Jumpman Junior today on different speeds for the fun of it. Been a long time since I played, as the Figurits Revenge level is a pain in the neck. Hard to memorize what order to grab everything in when you haven't played the game in many months! Northcoastgamer
Thank you, although not nearly impressive as your Candyman intrepetation, lol. I also find squishing all the the enemies in Squish 'Em and pretending they are Cardholio very enjoyable.
jblenkle
Pitfall II is so frustrating sometimes. I know perfectly well how to score all the points, but always wind up making a stupid mistake. And getting points taken away when you do is a killer!!!

DuggerVideoGames
Squish 'em is a fun game, but it's also one of those "Damn it, I know I can do better than this!" games where you make stupid mistakes and lose 2-3 lives in 20 seconds.
