iPod Touch? I thought they stopped making those ages ago. :?

Me too, but apparently not.

How... Quaint.

They were a nice way to get into iOS without a phone plan. The current generation has an A8 chip which is going on 5 years old, with a "don't buy, updates soon" warning on the Macrumors buyer's guide because it's been years since the last spec bump. I feel like most people would be better served to just buy an iPhone SE or better, with or without a phone plan. Ever notice there aren't many (if any) Android pocket things? It's because phones are everywhere.

If you'd like a city builder game free of this kind of shit

then I recommend Pocket City, a pay-once, play-forever game that deserves your attention, not the garbage "Atari" is selling.

Unrelated: Hm, they never did bring Night Driver to the US App Store.

Atari® Announces Citytopia™, an All-New City-Building Simulation Game Available Now on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Also still are using Uberstrategist.

Atari may have announced it, but Nvizzio Creations actually made it. Hopefully this won't confuse people into thinking Atari makes games.

Wait a sec...

They aren't making it for the Ataribox? Shocked, I am! Shocked and appalled! I demand a refund!*

*Note, I haven't actually given them any money. But I want compensation for emotional damages.

They really should just rename it the iPad Nano. Then they can claim it's "new".

They should just can the iPod touch and just sell it as a dedicated POS (point of sale) or scanner for small business, slam a huge battery in it. Apple is only interested in selling thousand dollar toys now

The iPod shuffle was no effort product but the would rather you buy a $500 watch and $1000 phone to use instead. I dont know how many little kids have parents that will buy them that stuff.

Then again people throw money at this fake Atari non-exist product so i guess many, also Tacos

My employer was testing rolling out iPads and iPod touch devices as POS systems in our stores. Apparently we decided to go another route.

I had to.

Whatever the Buy It Now value is, I don't want to find it out by ending up owning that overly-optimistically-priced hunk of crap.

That said, the seller has sold two of these, so based on the price being asked for them ol' P-DubZzZz may potentially be sitting on (or wearing) an item with a better rate of return on ownership than Atari SA's stock.

Your screenshot says the BiN price is $284.26.

A steal! Or, highway robbery.

That's the Buy-It-Now price, but there's got to be some lesser value at which offers are not automatically declined. Finding it would require follow through with the purchase, which nobody wants to do. It's probably set around $280.

"Atarilife" offers free US shipping, so this eBay seller weenie could break even by letting them go for $86 plus the $14 he's asking for shipping -- and just drop ship them directly from Atarilife to the eBay buyer sucker.

I would be surprised if there's a sucker for this particular weenie.
