Tanooki
Simply put trying to track down a Sony made LCD for the PS One, and the original release of Castlevania SOTN for PS1 that's it. Yes i could buy it on ebay, but I don't want to feed a BIN troll wanting notably more than what the stuff really sells for on an open auction. Been trying to poke a stick at that for two days so far on ebay and all those $90-100 SOTNs they won't take off by $5 (when open/realistic bin they hit $65 shipped) and the screen could be $70 BIN from a troll while realistically they're notably a 1/3 or better lower than that. Any takers looking to get non-bin troll value? Edited June 12, 2017 by Tanooki
SignGuy81
Yeah I just looked on ebay cheapest I seen was $30 for a bad LCD. People are crazy.
Tanooki
Yup and a reasonable price for one that's not some bin trolling bs appears to cap out around $50 shipped. The trolls try for $75-100 which is sick, but since there are random tools who refuse to learn what that 'sold' search is for don't know they're getting screwed or just don't care and it hurts the rest as it feeds scalper. SOTN for example is a fair pass at $40 green label and $60 for the black label (not including factoring upwards of $5 for shipping.) But if you scan ebay, you'll find a lot that do sell in that $50-65 range for the original release, but you find stupid asses paying $85-95 for a clean complete copy exclusively on BINs from notable resellers. It's a huge reason I got out of buying/selling old games and sticking to specific stuff as it just gets me mad and I kind of am just over it. I'd just like these two pieces because I have a really amazing PSOne setup I located locally and bought, but want to use the thing on my work/fun laptop gaming desk and not on my LED TV where SOny stuff (1st/2nd gen) tends to look like crap on no less than 3 differing TVs I've tried. +MrBlackCat
I have the PS One with Sony 5" LCD. When I saw this post and then looked around a bit, I was surprised how high they have gotten. Unmotivated people are going to put a finite amount of effort into "anything", like researching prices. If you feel like you really earn the money you are going to spend on something, it will motivate you to look for a reasonable price. Anyway, enough of that... I have almost no use for the 5" LCD screen as far as anything practical, but I set it up and play on it periodically just because it is something unique and something I would have loved to have as a younger child. Here is mine... If I see any turn up at a reasonable price, I will message you. MrBlackCat

My wife refuses to let me connect any systems to the tv in the bedroom so I keep my modded PSOne on my nightstand with the LCD screen. Good compromise - she gets to watch Netflix and I get to play (and we're still together in the same room).
Atari Dogs
I still have a couple lcd screen from when Kmart was clearancing them out. I had grand dreams of making a portable system. Let me know if you are interested and I will look for them.
Tanooki
I'm good now, got one from a member that was basically new/open box for a fair price. Thanks all.
