poohgarrett01
Whenever i turn on Joust for the 2600, the color doesn't come up on the screen, it's all black and white. I have a little over 100 games in my collection and Joust seems to be the only game that has this problem. Any tips i could use to make the color come on? Video
The b/w switch could be broken on your system. Most Atari games make no use of that switch at all, but some change color or go monochrome when its set to b/w. A few games use it for other things, I know 007 uses it to pause, I originally thought my copy was bad when I got it as my system stays in b/w most the time and it never crossed my mind to flip that switch. +SpiceWare
Based on this the NTSC version of Joust is outputting 261 scan lines. PAL requires an even number of scan lines for color, so I suspect you're in Europe and somehow acquired the NTSC version.
