courtesi96
For personal interest can anyone list some non-PC Gaming Doors and what they were about? This would include Non-PC platforms such as: Atari 8-bit / ST Commodore 64 / Amiga Apple II / GS I'm mainly interested in what game doors were available for these BBS platforms and what their closest PC counterpart would be. I'd also like to hear info on the C64 door Empire / what it was like etc. Thanks!
number six
I logged into a few C=64 boards back in the day, they were very basic compared to their PC counterparts.. 40 columns, etc. I don't recall them having any online games like the PC-Based boards had (Tradewars, etc). I'd imagine it would also be hard to load out a 2nd program when you only had 64k of ram? That was tricky even on IBMs depending on the door. Maybe if the C=64 had one of the ram expansions it would be possible.. who knows?
Inky
Space Empire Elite on the Atari 8 Bit BBS's. What fun myself and two local Atari BBS Sysops had destroying an annoying user one time.
