I really hope he starts production again one day. Wish he had an eBay store to check, I rarely look at Twitter.

you can always build your own. it's not does not have as much commands, but it works and works pretty well.

i documented how to build it my last newsletter under the 'DIY ESP8266 WiFi Modem' topic.

Thanks, but I don't have the time, not do I think I'm qualified to do it lol. Looks like everyone who bought one is holding onto it. There are none for sale here or on eBay.

Paul said he was going to take a break from building the WiFi232 for a bit since he has been building batches over the last few months.

Yeah, I see he wrote that on August 9th. Break can mean a month or next year. I'm on his Twitter now and will keep checking his feed for updates. If nothing updates I will attempt to build one with your documentation. Thanks for the link.

if you have some basic soldering skills you can do it. I used some header pins and jumper wires. Good thing is that TTL to Serial and the HUZZAH ESP8266 chip I used is all put together with the exception of the header pins that you will want to use. I even used the headers on the USB to power it up. The most time it took was to decide what project box to put it in and how to lay it out.

One thing: You know all of those old terminal programs (ANSI Term, Taz, etc.) all have an address book where you can store multiple dial-up BBS's? Well are there any programs that you can store telnet board addresses? It's a little difficult to type it in every time, especially if you go on several boards.
