Sorta OT, looking for a particular song

I am looking for the musical score/sheet music, to the song played in the cartoons featuring the Minah Bird.

My intent is to recreate that tune on the ti, with a minah bird sprite hopping along in tune with sound.

Anyway, if anyone knows the notes etc. to recreate that tune, that would be great.

Now, back to working on my minah bird sprites! :-D

It's from "The Hebrides" (Overture, Opus 26 to be exact) by Felix Mendelssohn.

You should be able to find sheet music for it fairly easily, but keep in mind it will be a 10/15 minute orchestral score where you'll have to identify the theme used for the cartoon and reduce it down to 3 voices.

Good luck though, I look forward to see (hear?) your results.

something like this- https://s3.amazonaws.com/media.sheetmusicdirect.com/images/web/smd_106859_felix_mendelssohn_the_hebrides_overture_op26_web.png will get you started in the right direction.

If I may make a suggestion... look for 'easy' or 'medium' arranged piano pieces. They'll be much easier to work with (plus generally piano tuned to 'C' so it's easier to program)
