Always thought this Apple II game would be great on the Intellivision.

Obscure game called Randamn for the Apple II. I think the Intellivision could handle it fairly easy. Not too many colors and not to much going on the screen at once. It's like a slot machine monster generator and the monsters get more numerous. Also multiple levels with different background themes. I think it's kinda cool.

And perhaps it could be made with other areas to play, not just the graveyard.

Actually, there are seven areas in the original. A new area appears after you clear all the monster slots on each level.

A good background on the game:

I thought that I knew every ]] game out there. Obviously I was wrong, I don't remember seeing that one before...

Anyway, it is definitely different, and with some judicious BACKTAB work it could be translated to the Intellivision fairly "clean".

I remember this game from an issue of Electronic Games. It was one of the early games that utilized the Apple II's hi-res mode. I remember drooling over the pictures, but, like many of these games, the title screen (or static screenshots) was the best looking part. The actual games themselves were usually on the "meh!" side.

I understand it's not great looking, but I really enjoy the gameplay of this title and I think it could be adapted pretty well on the Intellivision.

Hey that game does look like fun.. I would play that on an Intellivision or Colecovision hands down...

I think another apple ][ game that would be fun is the classic Conan game...

I loved Conan back in the day! If ported, it must contain the same castle edge detection bug the original had!
