So i noticed recently that the PS3 has:

-Both Wolf 3D and Doom I and II in the store

-Many 16 bit Genesis games (and the Genesis compilation disc)

-Midway Arcade Games Game (a bit pricey new these days...)

Of course these all look glorious through HDMI

What other good compilations exist and are worth tracking down for retro fun on the PS3?

Just looking at my collection I have:

- The previously mentioned Sonic's Ultimate Sega Genesis Collection

- The Metal Gear Legacy Collection, which includes the original MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2.  It also has MGS 2 (PS2), MGS 3 (PS2), and MGS 4 (PS3).  If you buy new you can download MGS (PS1 version)

- Not an 8 or 16 bit title, but a PS3 title which is an homage to Zelda: 3D Dot Game Heroes

If you have a PS3 that is backwards compatible with PS2, then there are lots of compilation titles there as well.

I just picked up Midway Arcade Games to play Robotron 2084. It plays and looks amazing. It seems a lot harder than the 7800 version. I also picked up 3d dot game heroes, but I haven't had time to play it yet.

I forgot I have the Metal Gear legacy collection as well.

The MSX games are great, superior to the NES games imo.
