Albert
There may be some additional downtime later.. I am in the process of moving databases to a new, dedicated database server. This should help eliminate any long pauses or timeouts from the forum, as well as the downtime in the middle of the night when the databases were backed up. Forum database is now running on the new server, but I still have to convert the database to a different storage engine, which will further help. First I have to troubleshoot why the Gallery index no longer works. Looks to be an issue related to moving to a much newer version of MySQL (technically Percona). After I (hopefully) fix that issue, I'll then complete the upgrade and put up a post about it. And hopefully I can do that before we lose power. ..Al

Kiwi
And hopefully I can do that before we lose power. ..Al Oy, better buy some car/forklift batteries to keep these servers powered or I'm going to go through withdrawal effects of no Atariage. JK. Stay safe and I'm hoping that the hurricane doesn't hit Atariage.

Ransom
I imagined the posts I'd be reading if AA were up. That Random Terrain guy posted a doozy! And Albert's selfie...well, let's just say I didn't know he and John Holmes had so much in common.

Albert
I went to my happy corner whispering "I can survive without Atariage" while crying I found a workaround for the problem causing the main Gallery page to display an error, so I'm ready to make further upgrades to the forum database. You'll therefore have another opportunity for crying later. ..Al

+atari2600land
The blog feature is kind of screwy. I entered a blog entry, and it gave me an error message. I tried again, same error message. I went to the blog main page and saw I had two entries both the same from when I tried.

+atari2600land
Now the blog feature won't let me post anything at all. It gives the same error message. I'm using Firefox on Windows 10. EDIT: Never mind. I had to click on my blog's main page to view the new entry, which is weird because I didn't have to do that before.
