Here are highlights of the upcoming season: The Ghosts have changed their name to the Killbotz. They have added a stronger defense to their high-scoring offense. The Sharks have changed their name to the Laser Sharks. They have built a new offense around their new young quarterback. The season will consist of 12 weeks starting September 11. The season will have two inter-network weeks. Each team will have two bye weeks during the season. INTV Bowl IV (league championship) will take place on December 4, location TBA. The league has a new website address: http://intyfootball.co.nf with full details, schedule, and highlights of past seasons. tacrec Posted September 11, 2017 Author Share Posted September 11, 2017 What a first game!!! Both teams were rusty in the first half, the Killbotz made the only score of the half with a field goal. The Killbotz jumped out to a 13-6 at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Mutants then came alive and dominated the 4th quarter with 16 unanswered points!!! The Bombers narrowed the lead to 16-13 half way through the fourth quarter. They had two chances to tie or take the lead but fell short as the Dogs escape with a 16-13 win. The Laser Sharks took a 16-13 lead near the end of the 3rd quarter. The Beamriders dominated the 4th quarter with two touchdowns and a field goal to win 30-16. The Destroyers led 16-10 at the half, then the Spartans took over and scored 10 points while blanking the Destroyers. The Destroyers mounted a comeback and shortened the lead to 22-20 early in the 4th quarter. However, the Destroyers comeback fell short and the Armada win 31-20. tacrec Posted September 28, 2017 Author Share Posted September 28, 2017 (edited) Crazy game today! The Bombers jumped out to a 20-0 lead with 6 minutes left in the first half. The Destroyers then woke up and scored 46 UNANSWERED POINTS! The Destroyers shoot down the Bombers 46-30. This is the most points scored by one team in a game since the Mutants beat the Sharks 47-28 a year ago today. The Destroyers high scoring came mostly from their 14 interceptions.
