Omega-TI
There are TI users on Twitter... and a lot of POTENTIAL new users as well. There are various hashtags that have TI content like #ti994a or #ti99 even #ti99iuc and there are some other fun TI hashtags like #TI994AWEEKEND! There is also Reddit with their very own TI section << HERE >> And to reach a currently and mostly non-TI audience, you could go post a photo of your TI system in Reddit's "RETROBATTLESTATIONS" forum. It might just create interest in users over there to see how much fun we TI'ers are having over here.
PeBo
I just wish they'd stop linking to facebook! I broke down and joined twitter because of the live Lacrosse feeds, but I flatly refuse to get involved in other dedicated social media sites (full disclosure, I used linkedin for job hunting a couple decades ago) So unfortunately, my inherent pig-headed (geriatric?) obstinance means that Reddit and facebook are permanent no goes... I do enjoy the twitter TI coverage though! I also found this picture there that made me wet my pants laughing! (although it is in the "that's-not-funny-that's sick" vein)
+InsaneMultitasker
I periodically read Paradroyd and DuhProject twitter feeds, then bounce to others from there. This is easier (to me) than subscribing to a feed, as I am already inundated with communication from work and other sources. I also find it more rewarding and relaxing read the updates in this fashion.
Casey
Twitter seems like the perfect platform for a TI 99/4A based client. Sure, the graphics or embedded videos may not come through, but the TI could easily consume the 140 characters per tweet. How hard could it be to implement? There's the whole business of getting the TI connected to the Internet, but after that?
