Luigi301
There's a few different Atari Diagnostic Cartridges out there. If you're looking for color adjustments, you probably want the Videosoft Color Bar Generator.

alex_79
For NTSC console: - Color Bar GeneratorAdjust the pot so that the the top and bottom half of the border in the title screen are as close to the same colors as possible Color Bar Generator (1984) (Video Soft, Jerry Lawson, Dan McElroy) (VS1008) ~.bin --------------------------------------- - Diagnostic Test Cartridge 2.6Set TV-TYPE switch to "COLOR" and both DIFFICULTY swicthes to "A"A screen of horizontal color bars is displayed.Towards the bottom of the screen there's a gray bar that's thinner than the others. Adjust the pot so that colors of the two bars above and below the gray one are as close as possible. The color of the other bars should be uniform from left to right. Diagnostic Test Cartridge 2.6 (1982) (Atari) (MA017600) ~.bin -------------------------------For PAL console: - Diagnostic Test Cartrige 2.6PSet TV-TYPE switch to "COLOR" and both DIFFICULTY swicthes to "A"A screen of horizontal color bars is displayed. In the bottom half of the screen there's a bar that's double the height compared to the the others. Adjust the pot so that this bar is the color of "gold" The color of the other bars should be uniform from left to right. Diagnostic Test Cartridge 2.6P (1982) (Atari) (TE016643) (PAL) (4K).binIn all cases, leave the console on for a few minutes before doing the adjustments, as the color will drift a bit while it warms up. +DrVenkman
Bear in mind, too, that a calibrated system will look different on a CRT as compared to an LCD. We've been round and round on this over in both the 8-bit and 7800 sections. So if you get your system looking more or less "right" on an LCD, expect things to look off (perhaps very off!) if you move to a CRT or vice versa.
