hizzy
Hi, I often mute the TV while playing games and put on an album. Am I alone in this? Also, I have albums that I will play with specific games. I find Maiden Voyage goes well with Pacman: A Love Supreme is also a great Pacman game and goes well with Adventure: Steely Dan's Aja goes well with everything: I'll also go for Cat Stevens when playing my 2600. Mona Bone Jakon is a good album. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAIGXetlqFU&list=PL179FBC43DBD90F8B 70's funky James Brown is great with Asteroids:
+KaeruYojimbo
I used to do that in the 16-bit days. Most of those games had terrible music that just looped over and over and over. Also, I was in high school and pretty much always had music playing anyway. I never went so far as to pair specific albums with games though. hizzy
Some of the albums I choose have to do with high scores. I KILLED Pacman 8k while playing A Love Supreme.

Gorfy
Some of the albums I choose have to do with high scores. I KILLED Pacman 8k while playing A Love Supreme. Love John Coltrane! Never paired him with video games, though.

+save2600
When younger, I always listened to music while playing games. Devo, Steely Dan, Moody Blues, The Police, Talking Heads, The Cars... 70's and 80's music in general, but these days I prefer to just hear the game.
