WTB: Atari Jaguar System *New higher price offer!*

I'm looking to pay around $200 shipped for a good condition Jaguar system with power supply, official composite video cable, one (preferably gray button) controller, and a copy of the 2MB version of Cybermorph. By "good condition" I mean no major scratches on the top of the system and all the rubber feet on the bottom intact. I'd also be willing to pay extra to get a cheap but decent game or two with it (Iron Soldier, I-War, etc.) but I'm not looking to spend a ton on games up front; unless Alien vs Predator or Doom are on offer that is, since those are the two rather spendy Jag games that are high priority purchases for me.

Lastly, if you happen to have a spare Jaguar in nice condition but don't have composite video cables for it I'd still be willing to offer around $170 shipped or so for the system without composite cables, since I can buy those separately elsewhere.

Well, I think that about covers everything! Just shoot me a PM if you happen to have a Jaguar that you're interested in selling. :)

Thanks for the vote of confidence Masschamber, and for the nice offer on some Jaguar controllers! I may have to take you up on it depending on what the system I end up getting comes with. You've always been a pleasure to do business with yourself, so feel free to let me know if you happen to stumble across any of the systems I'm looking for. :)

jin is a good guy to sell to and he is offering going rates in my experience,

but if you do find a controller less jag I can sell you all the pads you need for 7 bucks each (+ shipping)

Wow, is that a Jin-only offer on the controllers? That's an awesome price!

Back to the topic, I wish I could help, but I only have one Jaguar and one (non-minty) Lynx II for my collection. I'll keep an eye out, though.

No worries at all, thanks for keeping a lookout!

Speaking of controllers I should go back and edit the original post to mention that there are actually a few controllers I'm looking for as well! Either new or like-new out of package condition preferably:

- AtGames Atari Flashback Wired Joystick

- Atari CX-78 Joypad

- Atari CX-80 Trackball

I may be able to get you a CX-78 joypad. I have one, but I don't really like it. I'd much rather use Genesis controller adapters for my 7800.

The thing is, I'm in the middle of a move, so I won't be able to access the joypad until I unpack.

Feel free to shoot me a PM after you finish unpacking and find it, I've always liked the CX-78s. Their d-pads are pretty mushy feeling compared to a NES or Genesis pad but I dig that feel. I was going to buy a new one for $40 from Best Electronics but I'd be willing to offer up $25 or so plus shipping for a used one as long as it was still in nice condition and worked properly without any of the buttons sticking. I have encountered a few heavily used ones with really sticky feeling buttons, so if I did buy a used one I'd be looking for one that's fairly lightly used and still has responsive snappy feeling buttons.

Good luck with the move in any case though! I hope it goes smoothly and that you like the new place. :)

I use a CX-78 with my Atari 2600 Jr. I like it, but while it is not a horrible dpad controller (especially for one of the earliest examples) Sega and Nintendo definately made better.
