Make page mobile friendly

Typical - it is not doing it now so I can't take a picture. Maybe it is just something with my Galaxy Tab's Chrome, but it just started to occur, and only on the AtariAge forums, so I thought I'd mention it as an FYI. I did not do the suggestion below but the error message still isn't happening right now. Weird.

You can do this to disable it:
- Navigate to chrome://flags
- Search for text "Reader Mode"
- Change the setting of "Reader Mode triggering" to "Never"

The new version of the forum software, which I hope to move the forum to early next year, has much better mobile support. It doesn't use a separate (and poorer, functionality-wise) skin like the current software, but has a responsive skin that works great on phones and tablets.

Good to know Albert, hopefully Google sorts out whatever has gone screwy in their website format detection software. It seems to only happen on the main forum directory page for me. Here's a screenshot for reference:

And if I click the pop up at the bottom of the screen I get:

Ahh, yes, it's showing you the full desktop page by default. I wonder if these Android devices are no longer reporting mobile browsers, so sites will show the full-on website. Their attempt to make a "mobile-friendly" site looks to have completely failed.

Definitely try the "Mobile" version of the theme. Again, just click the "Change Theme" link at the bottom of the page and choose "Mobile". You can also try Tapatalk. It has some issues, but it's a great way to navigate the site on a phone or tablet. Just remember that it generates an error when you post a new topic, even though the topic was indeed posted. So, don't keep retrying or you'll end up with multiple copies of the same topic that we then have to clean up. :D Hopefully this will be fixed with the newest version of the forum software.

Ok. I'll ignore it. I clicked on the pop-up and it didn't really work. Not that anything needs to be done, the formatting still appears 100% okay and is the Mobile version, not the "full version" that I use for PC web browsing.

Actually I think it *is* the full version formatting, and on my 10 inch Tablet screen I prefer it over the mobile version. Not sure why just recently the popup started to hound me, but I have been ignoring it. Just a clarification.

Great news Al Looking forward to this. The Mobile theme is certainly lacking and somewhat inconsistent. EG "Like" a post option, but no way to see them! (Which as a social media function you might expect should be highly geared toward Mobile users)
