Found A 2600 & Carts in Garage - Can I Get Some Input?

To be clear, I don't in any sense delusionally think I've stumbled on some Antiques Roadshow Jackpot -- just a beat-up old 2600 & a collection of common carts swaddled in age-old dust.

My question is -- should I throw out / haul to Goodwill / sell it on eBay if worth the trouble?

Pics attached.

Thanks

Meant that I found it in my garage. I think it's the one a buddy gave me in college.

I'd test it if I could figure out how....

You'll need a power adapter (is there one?) and a TV switch box. You can splice the ends of that into the coax connector in the photo if you have an old TV that can take analog input.

Ebay'ing untested things seems like it would be a hassle nowadays. If the buyer were unhappy you'd end up paying shipping both ways. Personally, I would donate it, there's nothing super special in that photo, but that comes down to your personal situation. You might be able to get in person pick-up for $35 if you list it on Craigslist and are comfortable dealing with classic gamer personalities.

Its worth something, so the trash is the wrong choice. GoodWill would probably do something that got it to a person that actually wants it. Unless you already sell on Ebay, and are familiar with the ins and outs, I'm not sure it is worth it. The $60-75 range is probably what you can expect, but it might take a while to sell at that price.

my first suggestion would be to hook it up get some friends together & play way past your hands cramping-up

next maybe put on craigslist with a "will be gone next weekend" sort of thing then off to Goodwill if needs be

The cut on that thing with the exposed PCB looks way too clean to be a broken M-Network cart.

yeah that's the bottom half of a disassembled M-Network Cart .... the part that goes into the slot

Maybe its the bottom to super challenge?

if you blow-up the pic you can see the bottom half of Super Challenge Football so it's another game ( or a dupe :P )

I will guess Armor Ambush 'cause these guessing games are fun :-D

It's cool that you guys are so helpful!

Yeah the M-Network thing has me guessing too. Super Football is intact so it's not that.

No power supply, no TV switch box.

I should have added that I've got Stella 5.0 hooked up to a Mac with an X-Arcade Controller (currently playing Panky Panda & Space Cactus)

& that arrangement suits me fine. I don't need the full-on retro experience.

But I figure somebody would probably want this thing.
