MissCommand
Hi All, I have had very good luck with several different controllers using my 2600-dapter and Stella emulator. I have used some original one-button Atari controllers, some dupe controllers, Epyx, and even a generic USB XBox type controller with the buttons all over it. I just go into the TAB-> "Input Settings" and remap my buttons. All of these have worked fine. Well I just bought a Sega Genesis MegaFire 9-pin controller and plugged it into my 2600-dapter. However, Stella does not seem to detect any key presses from either the DPad or the three buttons. I tried both P0 and P1, but nothing. I was wondering if maybe I had a bad controller, but I noticed on the game I was trying it with that the DPad-Right was actually acting like the fire button and firing missiles. Has anyone tried this controller or do I have to do something different than "normal" to get it to work?
ave1
Best Electronics sells a Genesis to Atari Systems convertor Cable. That may solve the problem.
