If you could test that with a copy of Schoolhouse I and it does fit snugly I'd buy a few. They will be very close but I think there is a good chance they will work For big box studio 2. I will certainly test it once I have 1 in hand. And since they are all gatefolds they are prone to falling open so protectors is very helpful for them. Also I see that these 2600 adult protectors will also fit the activision fat box games. These were made for a few platforms. Particularly colecovision and Atari 5200. I believe 4 titles for the coleco and 5 for the 5200. Then I think they were also used for some 8 bit stuff and commodore...maybe others? This is the next size I want to pursue somebody to make...but in case nobody is willing these adult protectors will be something they will at least fit in. The adult protectors will be about 1/2" wider than needed and about 1/8" taller and 1/8" thicker than needed for the fat activision boxes. Hmmm....don't have my Star Raiders in the big box out handy right now. I would say it would have to be too big for these though. If memory serves I think it is the same size as big box Indy 500 maybe? If that is the case it is way to big and nothing I know of currently fits Indy 500 good. I will post when the adult game protectors are available. Then you can place an order on his site and add the tall box intellivision protectors to your order. they are 95 cents each or 10 for 8.75. So I would recommend a 10 pack....plus there are 9 Sega games for the 2600 that use them. I also found protectors that are a perfect fit for the fat box Activision games. Like ghost busters for the 2600 and 5 titles for the 5200 and 4 for the colecovision. I will post about these soon in my protector thread. thanks! +stupus Posted March 4, 2018 Author Share Posted March 4, 2018 So great news! I got my samples of the atari 2600 adult protectors yesterday. They look outstanding and are an awesome fit! Also the 1 big box rca studio 2 game school house 1 will also fit in them. A tiny bit of extra space for it but still looks great and wonderful to have something for it. The pal video gems games also fit in them but the protectors are thicker than needed for them. But there was really no good option for them besides the vectrex protectors and these are a better fit than those. Dan from retroprotection.com said they should be up on the website for order by Sunday night. So check there soon especially if you preordered some! You won't be disappointed!
