Nice Pokey. Now a 7800 version of CV needs to be made!

Agreed! ANY of the great, classic NES platformers would be awesome on the 7800 in 160a, fat pixel, POKEY music glory... Castlevania series, Ninja Gaiden, Mario, NES Batman, Contra, etc.

If anybody is willing to do the coding, I'm down for making all the music and pixel art! :)

All channels of the Pokey are being used for these demos right? So that would only leave the TIA channels available for actual sound effects? So while the music can be done well enough and I'm sure the 7800 could handle the sprite work needed for these games, the actual sound effects for them might take away from the experience if having to the use the TIA. That would be my only concern.

Right, all 4 POKEY channels are being used. And, I dunno, I think the TIA could pull off some nice complex sound effects, depending on who is using it and how they're using it. I'm starting to screw around with TIATracker a bit more lately, maybe I'll try recreating some NES sound effects on the TIA and see how they come out. Hell, if I like hoow they turn out, I might go ahead and make a sound effects library for Atari homebrew/indie developers... I'm sure it would be useful for somebody some day

Thanks all. Glad you like the tunes.

Oh yea, a CV conversion or clone on the 7800 would be awesome. And doable now more than ever, with the development of more advanced homebrew platformers like Bently Bear.

I would definitely help out in the development (pixel art, music, sounds, etc.) on a project like that
