+save2600
Cool, why not?! Looks good to me and features The Rock. Will be seeing that in theaters for sure.
0078265317
Ye$$, why not. Anything for Hollywood as long as Dwayne keeps bringing in the dollar$$ and rating$$.
Tanooki
That actually looks good for a monster movie, and how rotten it has been in games excellent for that. Rampage never had much of a story to it anyway being an arcade game so it gives more room to not totally foul it up like the creative way Super Mario Bros went. Even if they stuck closer to the old arcade mini story of people turning into mutants I don't think the movie would have been all that different still having large animals crushing buildings, equipment and people all the same. Just take it like going to another Godzilla movie or some of those weird Japanese tv shows like the Power Rangers or Ultraman with the big rubber suit beasts now CGI going at it and have some mindless fun. Skippy B. Coyote
Oh hell yes! That looks twenty different kinds of awesome! This is going to be an opening night ticket purchase for me.
+cmart604
I will pretty much see anything the Rock puts out. He is the biggest movie star in the world these days and this movie looks like all kinds of mindless fun.
Pixelboy
Hmmmmmmmmmm....... No. If it doesn't have regular people drinking funky stuff and turning into giant monsters, it's not Rampage. Rampage always had a Jekyll-and-Hyde angle to it, and this movie doesn't follow that plot at all.
Loxx O)))
Ha, is that the first you've heard of it? I don't have high hopes... But sure, why not? Edit: Watched the trailer. Ha, yeah, I'm in. Edited November 17, 2017 by Loxx O)))
doctorclu
Three words: "Rampage - Dwayne Johnson". Yep, I'll see it.
Scotterpop
Hey, as long as Uwe Boll isn't involved, I'll give it a chance!
Eltigro
Don't go to the movies much anymore, but this doesn't look too bad. My gf loves Jeffery Dean Morgan, knows him from The Walking Dead, so she might not mind seeing this one... but probably not. lol
djour
Mindless popcorn muncher. As long as I realize this before going in, they can be incredibly fun.
Noah98
Ill see it for sure! Of course I do have Movie Pass, so Ill see almost anything, lol!
mbd30
Rampage is one of the better games for making into a movie because it's just huge monsters destroying cities.
HoshiChiri
I think this'll do well. I mean, a giant monster movie that releases on 4/20? There's an audience for that.
Silverfleet
He's been wanting to make this one for years. The Rock likes him some Rampage!
Raiu
The problem I have with this is that in Rampage, the game, the monsters are the protagonists. They're humans transformed into a monstrous form by radioactively-tainted products that were supposed to be harmless, and they're taking it out on everything they see. Here they're just... monsters. Enlarged animals whose only purpose is to be shot and killed by the Heroic Humans Who Certainly Didn't Do Anything Wrong Yay Humans. It entirely misses the point of the game. (And it certainly misses all of the 1950s B-Movie humor of the game) They turned what was supposed to be a humorous perspective-flip into a generic giant monster movie. Maybe it'll be an all right Generic Giant Monster Movie, but it won't be Rampage. Edited November 17, 2017 by Raiu
Tanooki
It's Hollywood, shoot lower as you're asking too much from the people who give us countless reboots of crappy comic movies and drivel rehashes of stuff from decades past as they're out of ideas. Like I said, go into it hoping for mindless Godzilla action and stay for the destruction.

imstarryeyed
I can't wait to see it after the trailer... I like how they kept the characters names and most of the game integrity seems to be respected. I am looking forward to this movie. I am also hoping it will be a good videogame movie to usher in a new era of good video game movies...
Cynicaster
Generally speaking I'd rather watch a 2 hour loop of Steve Buscemi licking yogurt off the bottom of a lid than the typical modern Hollywood big-budget special effects wank-off, but I may make time for this one when it hits Netflix.
