10phoneman
My question is there any Online repair shops still around who does repairs on the Sony Playstation 2. Here is my problem I recent brought a game call Legends of Wrestling volume 1 I tried to put it in the Playstion 2 console it tells me disk error. I tried it again with a different disk still the same game but another disk. Tells me disk error. I use another disk from my collection MADDEN 06 the game plays perfect I'm not mechinally incline but would prefer a professional to fix it. Thank you in advance.
Rick Dangerous
Somy PlayStation Toos are so cheap you are better off just buying a used one ass opposed to trying to repair them.
SignGuy81
That game I believe is a CD based game. If the bottom is blue it is a cd which means your PS2 may have trouble with CDs. I bought one before was told the PS2 wouldn't read blue discs or cds(which they were right at the pawn shop) but got a good deal on it, took it home, did nothing but clean the lens with q-tip and alcohol and to this day is playing PS2 CD games, PS1 games and music CDs. So maybe that is all it needs is a little cleaning on the lens. If not I agree with the above post may not be worth the repair if you can find one working cheaper than repair price. EDIT: Keep me in mind as I may have a PS2 for sale here soon I have one still in a box to work on when I get around to it. cybercylon
I am surprised my launch model still chugs along, including the CD based games.
