FS: Vic-20 Megacart and C64 Ultimate II+ with tape adapter

Too late to get pictures of these up (wife is sleeping and all of my stuff is in the bedroom!) but I will if necessary. Everything is like factory new.

1. Vic-20 Megacart - This only took me SEVEN years to obtain. It is serial #77 if I recall correctly. It is mint, works great and comes with original box and printed manual. If you know anything about this cart you will know that this is damn near impossible to obtain. I hate to sell it but I have Thanksgiving mouths to feed. $150 plus shipping takes it. ***SOLD!!***

2. C64 Ultimate II+ and tape adapter - I waited months for this and it was worth it. It works great as you would expect and as far as I can see has 100% compatibility. I purchased the tape adapter as well, and even got someone to make a matching professional 3D case for it. The cart is black by the way. More info can be found at:

http://1541ultimate.net/content/index.php

It comes with the mentioned tape adapter (so you can play .TAP titles) and comes with an 8GB USB drive. $200 plus shipping takes all of it. ***SOLD!!***

I just wanted to add that if you think you can get the Megacart for $99 by simply ordering it on their website you are in for a rude awakening :) It didn't take me seven years to get this for nothing. Just pointing it out as I already received a PM stating that the website is taking orders. That is so far from the truth that is isn't funny....

Man, why sell your 1541 Ultimate? Did you get a different device you like better?

No device is better ;) No, I just find that I am emulating the C64 (using a Pi 3) more than I am using the actual hardware nowadays since the actual hardware looks like garbage on my flat screen TV. I have been in the process of doing away with old CRT displays which are both way to heavy for me to lift when I move (which will be soon) and bound to fail at one point or another due to their age.

I have tried cheap HDMI upscalers and they are trash...and there is no way in hell I am investing $400 for an XRGB mini. The Pi 3 does a pretty perfect job at emulating the C64 and the HDMI picture is crisp and clean. Maybe I'll consider the new Ultimate C64 drop in replacement board when that is released which will provide HDMI out of the box, but I am good for now.
