Henry Morrison
Hi guys! I am an old owner of an Atari 2600. Unfortunately I lost it a long time ago during a move. I bought a clone of Atari recently, at a price almost given away, it is a console called TV GAME. This clone had 32 games recorded in memory, including some classics from my childhood, and it worked perfectly. it's something like this. Unfortunately, the cartridge that came as a gift with the console I have not gotten my Atari clone to recognize it at any time. I would even say that it does not fit very well in the cartridge slot, it stays slightly loose. Interestingly, in Youtube videos I have seen consoles of this type, Atari clones, work with Atari cartridges. I wanted to ask if anyone knows this clone, and if the Atari cartridges usually work on clone consoles. It is possible that it is a simple dirt problem in the contacts or that there is a problem with that particular cartridge, however, I would like to be sure. thanks in advance!
RamrodHare
I'm not familiar with this console, so I can't really help you out there. The best advice I can give you is just buy a working 2600. They aren't that expensive and there are plenty of members here who will sell you a nice working one. There's also the option of getting the Atari Flashback 8 console. My local Walmart carries them in the electronics dept. The flashback doesn't accept cartridges, but it has over 100 2600 games on it.
