vidak
I recently bought a Raspberry Pi 3! I want to create a dedicated box with it that emulates a classic 8 bit computer! I was thinking of going with the Commodore 64, but I also know the Atari 8 bits were great! I want to emulate one machine - which one should it be? PS. Is this in the right forum? Haha
eightbit
If you want to quickly and easily emulate a C64 (or Vic, PET, etc) Combian is pretty nice: https://cmaiolino.wordpress.com/combian-64-v2/ I like how fast it boots up (a few seconds) and the fact that it does not show any boot processes....so it works just like a real C64 (turn it on and you are in C64 Basic in a few seconds). You can also change the boot up computer to a Vic or whatever. Edited December 3, 2017 by eightbit
