dthompsonwa
Hi everyone. I just got a Tandy 1000HX and I'm looking to expand the ram. I understand I need a unique PLUS card. eBay has none to offer so I'm looking for anyone selling one. If you have an EX to go with it or an external 5-1/4" drive I might be interested in those too. Secondly, I understand an adapter between the PLUS card connector and ordinary PC edge connector is relatively simple to make, but I'd like to know if there's any source for a premade, tested one - would be willing to pay up front for someone to fabricate and test one for me. These are both long shots but I wanted to at least try. Thank you for your time!
towmater
This is currently much cheaper than the card alone. https://www.ebay.com/itm/263368603475?ul_noapp=true

towmater
Which is still cheaper than buying it standalone!
towmater
I understand an adapter between the PLUS card connector and ordinary PC edge connector They were selling some on the Tandy thread at VCFED very recently. If you do end up looking for one inside a HX or SX at auction, be sure they show the back of the computer, often some other cards are included as well. polbit
I have few of the RAM Plus cards, I bought a bunch of them a while ago when looking to upgrade my 1000HX. I could part with one, but ideally I would like to trade for the Tandy 3.5" drive for the HX.
