Wally1
remember that word, 'Enduser'? haha well my 520ST mysteriously STARTED working again, and that by itself after being closeted for a few days. I found that if i insert a floppy just the right way it actually works. no need to recap the capacitors either. and so my 1040STF just arrived yesterday (thanks Bruce of B&C!) and works great! I got Cubase Lite running from Lotharek harddrive with a Yamaha Midi keyboard noodling around. Oh and by the way has anybody heard of a game called "Backlash" - it is excellent early FPS (first person shooter) 3D I believe true 3D also. Very smooth and well done all around. Also rhyming with 'Backlash' is "Bugbash" an excellent sideview scroller shootem'up. Both these games came on the Lotharek HDD. I think that's it for now. thanks a lot everybody Edited December 12, 2017 by Wally1
Wayneb123
How long did you have to wait for your 1040STF, I tried ordering a STE from him but he seems to be swamped with orders all the time, I gave up and bought a 1040STF off Ebay. I really would like to get a TT someday from Bruce but he told me he has people waiting over a year for them. Seems like a good guy with lots of inventory but not enough time to meet the worlds demand.

Wayneb123
I tried ordering in January, cancelled in November. I didn't even know about his business until about a year ago, I just recently started to get interested in reacquiring the old computers I used to own, or always wanted. I may try ordering something again next year, he told me he wants to retire and I don't want to wait too long. I put off ordering some software from Bravo Sierra while waiting for my Atari and now his website is gone.
