While I was playing I raised the brightness and the middle third of the LCD became dark. I am asking where the problem could be and if there is a way to fix without replacing anything. As there is hundreds of already modded Lynx II's there should be plenty of working screens in the wild. At the same time you could also add filters between the lamp and the LCD from some old monitor.
