Specs on SARA/SC/CO20231 RAM chips

I've found someone who made an adapter that takes FRAM and makes it talk to a sega genesis cart SRAM. Basically, that means the game and board think it's talking to plain old battery backed RAM but now the contents never get lost (even without power.)

I'm going to see if I can convince this same person to make FRAM SARA chip adapters. In theory this means game variables will stay even after power off making open world games a real possibility. Or, at least Little Computer People.

 

So far I *think* SARA RAM is also called "Super Chip". Super Chip seems to have a part number of CO20231.

 

This guy'll need exact specs but I can't find anything. Anybody have any leads?

 

 

UPDATE: I found a diagram here but I'm not sure if that's enough info to jury rig an adapter.
