42bs
Hi, maybe someone here has a hint for me. I tried a multitude of VirtualJaguar versions. None of them seems to work. It just does _nothing_ virtualjaguar.exe -help on cmd shows nothing.I did download HalMock which has one inside. There at least a log is created. But all it says is: VJ: SDL (joystick, audio) successfully initialized. I'am using win7-x64 (if that matters). Cheers 42Bastian
Christos
Maybe your antivirus blocks it.
Jagosaurus
Right click and run as administrator? I have the latest running a Windows 7 PC.
42bs
@Christos: I only have MS Security Essentials. I disabled realtime protection but no change.@Jagosaurus: Tried this, no change. Meanwhile I did load it with gdb and at least now I know where it crashes: In the HD520 driver (ig9icd64.dll9) from Intel. It seems to be a common problem. At least googleing brings up others with the same problem but so far no solution.
SignGuy81
Try this, I've had to do this with a few programs to get them to work before http://pearsonsupport.helpserve.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/210/21/how-to-install-or-run-a-program-in-compatibility-mode-in-windows-
42bs
*puh* after doing some install, uninstall tries and also tried the compatibility tab I give up.It seems to be the Intel HD520 crap so I go for a simple PC with a nice NVidia card.I should send an invoice to Intel for lost live-time Thanks all for the hints.
