Sorry for my mistake, the correct year of submission is 2018. Happy 2018 to everyone!

Don't worry -- everyone's terrible at Burgertime (with the assured exception of Oyamafamily).

Recently, I played the 7800 version of Burgertime for 7800 HSC, which is Beef Drop by Ken Siders.

To achieve the monster score on this 7800 homebrew (1,000,000+ on Normal), I used the "grouping enemy food" technique.

Check out this thread: http://atariage.com/...me-6-beef-drop/

My 1-million score on Beef Drop Normal was made with video evidence.

Aha! Those are French Fries, I was concerned that my cartridge was suffering from bit-rot.

At some point deep in my Atari 2600 past, I just stopped asking myself what the stuff on screen is. I just categorize it into "kills you" and "gives you points".

When I tried the game on my regular crt tv the score was cut off the top about halfway.   I tried it on the spare TV in the basement and it works fine.         Any idea how to get it to work on my regular tv?

Is there a vertical position knob/setting somewhere?

Just put [ media ] then [ /media ] brackets around the YouTube link (without the spaces of course) and you can embed the video in your post. Nice shirt by the way! :)

Never played the 2600 version before. It seems most of the main elements are there. It is a bit sluggish and the control leaves a little to be desired. I'm not a fan of how the enemies respawn when you are at the edges of the screen. I am having fun with it and enjoying the competition aspect with the HSC.

BurgerTime (1983) (M Network)_4.png A lot better than my previous score 28050 points, not many points just trying to advance levels and survive ( it is hard to handle with the keyboard )

Yes, like this game! My cart went out last week and now have to play on emulation.

Might need help with the BONUS.

So, if you never played in the HSC and this is your first time... let me know.

Thanks!
