TI on film

Back in the day with just fleeting shots on TV and no HD like today with huge screens, they probably figured no one would ever notice those old TV style flat lead connectors. Damn though, I've not seen or used connectors like that since the 70's! Nice find!

It took quite a while to even find a photo of these old dinosaurs on the Internet.

That's neat!

There is also a TI in Different Strokes, episode 6.12 "Where There's Smoke", at about 15:15... I remember seeing it years ago in the 80's and going "Hey, that's my computer!"

Now I'm wondering if it showed up in other episodes as a prop in Arnold's room...

ha! it's one of the 'wireless' models. ;)

Not a full TI99/4A but this is a TI99 keyboard used as a prop in "The Running Man", set in a dystopian United States between 2017 and 2019. (!)

Running Man is one of my fave Ahnold flicks from the 80s! 'Once Subzero, now plain zero' (or something like that)

I used to use these in my "projects" for 9 volt batteries connectors. They worked great for them. Oh the radio shack days!
