Does anyone have a source for new disc inlays?

I'm not sure how you are attaching the discs but I have had great success attaching things like this with rubber cement. I'm not sure how the cement would react with the materials being used.

I've found that the best method for using rubber cement is to apply a thin layer on the facing parts of both things to be attached and let the cement dry. Once the cement is dry on both parts, carefully align and place the items together. Excess cement can be rubbed away with a clean cloth after the items are attached and completely dry.

I use this method a lot to make my own labels for things by printing on glossy paper and using rubber cement to attach the labels. To keep the labels nice and clean while attaching, Once I get the label initially in place, I lay a clean piece of paper over the top to protect it while I then rub my hand or a cloth over the label (with the paper over it to protect it) to press it down. Things attached like this can be removed later.

Sorry about the long post. For some reason I love this crafty stuff. :)

I used plastic epoxy which bonds plastics or metals and plastics.

Also, this is the effect that can be done on it to finish it off. It's called engine-turning. Just need a bit, or a mild abrasive stone bit on a drill to do it.

Wow. I'd love to have at least two or maybe three sets of controller discs finished like the ones in the picture you attached. That would be SWEET!!!!

Did anyone every come across with these? I could use some if they did.

+1 Any sources available? My Intellivision restore is done except for this. The previous owner used paper-backed silver stickers which are (of course) peeling off and look odd due to the color.

You are my hero, they should make an Intellivision home brew about you and your adventure on getting them made.

I appreciate the enthusiasm. Should be fairly easy compared to the Atari Jaguar Pro controller project I recently completed. I actually am working on the Intellivision plastic cartridge trays as well and should have them made pretty soon as well. The plastic trays that go inside the cardboard boxes.

I just want to say that I got my inlays from:  Intellivision Metal Controller Disc – Hoskinson Industries (myshopify.com).  I attached one yesterday and it worked great.  I've only played games with that controller for a short time, but the disc is firmly attached and looks like new!

The disc I removed was peeling away from the controller.  I was able to pick it off with my fingers.  I worked on the goo left behind with some goo-gone, but I was surprised to find another layer of gold paint (err something) down there.  It started to come off with the goo-gone, so I just cleaned the surface and stuck @Starwander's disc on top of that mess.  Looks and feels great now.
